Commonwealth of Learning Fellowship

The AAOU Secretariat will give tenx (10) COL-AAOU grants to young delegates from Open and Distance Learning institutions from developing Asian Commonwealth nations, based on the following conditions:

1. Delegates from Bangladesh, India, Maldives, Pakistan and Sri Lanka to enable participation in the Conference;
2. Give preference to young or mid-career practitioners (rather than policy makers) of distance education who have not had the opportunity to attend the conference in the past;
3. Seek to ensure greater participation of women; Gender Equality. To encourage young woman practitioners and scholars in ODL
4. Use the funds to defray Conference registration fees and local accommodation to a maximum of CAD500 for each delegate supported, but not travel.
